Before your family camping trip
How much should we budget?
Camping costs $10 per guest per night with your own tent, or $15 with a tent and mattress provided. For four guests, that is $40 or $60 per night. Tell us how many adults and children are coming when you request your quote.
What is private, and what is shared?
Your family has its own campsite for 2–6 people. Bathrooms and hot showers are shared with other guests. If a private bathroom is essential, take a look at our yurts or Lotus Belle tents.
Can we cook our own food?
Yes. Bring your food and drinks and use the shared kitchen area or BBQ stations. Shop before you arrive so you have what you need for meals.
What time can we arrive and leave?
Check-in is from 3 PM, with late arrivals welcome until 10 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM. One-night stays are welcome. Ask about early arrival or late departure before your trip; availability and additional charges may apply.
What should we bring?
Pack drinking water, outdoor clothing, walking shoes, a jacket for cooler evenings, and toiletries. Bring your camping equipment if choosing the own-tent rate. For a rental tent, confirm the bedding and cooking equipment you need when booking.
Is there electricity, Wi-Fi, and parking?
There is 24-hour solar electricity for lighting and charging, reliable mobile coverage, and free parking near the entrance. There is no Wi-Fi.
Is the tap water safe to drink?
No. Tap water is not suitable for drinking, so please bring enough drinking water for your family, especially for children.
Is there a deposit, and can we cancel?
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your stay. Cancellations are accepted at least 7 days before your arrival date.
What about first aid and the nearest hospital?
First aid is available on site, mobile coverage is very good, and the nearest hospital is 1 km away.
Can we bring pets, and are there quiet hours?
Pets are welcome, as long as they are not very noisy. Please mention your pet when you book. Quiet time starts at 11:30 PM, with no music after that, so everyone can sleep.
